Professional Kitchen Refinishing

Professional Kitchen Refinishing

Get the look of a new kitchen without the significant cost of buying one. Kitchen door spraying has become a very popular way of updating your kitchen – we don’t paint your doors, but refinish them with a durable kitchen grade lacquer in the colour of your choice. To get an idea of the cost of respraying your cupboard doors, have a look below – you can use the quote builder to get an idea of price before you have to go any further!

If you have non-standard sized doors, they can’t easily be replaced to modernise the look of your kitchen. Respraying them is a really good option, particularly as you can have any colour in a variety of sheens such as matt or satin.

WHAT COLOURS ARE AVAILABLE?

You can have any colour you want. All you need to do is provide us with a paint manufacturer and the name of their paint (for instance, Farrow & Ball Pigeon or Dulux Borrowed Light), or a RAL number (which is a colour code number), or you can have a colour match - for instance, if you have a new pair of curtains or you love the colour of your crockery, give us a sample and we can respray your kitchen cabinet doors the same colour!

HOW HARD WEARING WILL IT BE?

We use a spray lacquer finish which is to the British Standard appropriate for kitchen use. It is extremely hard wearing and durable, in fact you can have the same expectations from it as you would from a new kitchen.

DO I TAKE THE KITCHEN DOORS OFF MYSELF?

This depends on what level of service you would like. You can dismantle your kitchen yourself, taking off the doors, drawer fronts, pelmets, cornicing and kickboards you want refinished and bring them to us for them to be resprayed, together with anything else you can remove such as corner shelf units. We are based at Hemswell Cliff in Lincolnshire within easy reach of Lincoln, Gainsborough, Market Rasen, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Saxilby and surrounding areas. Alternatively, for an extra charge (dependent upon location) we can arrange to come and do this for you.

WHAT ABOUT BITS THAT WON’T COME OFF?

We use an industrial grade finish and as such, it must be sprayed in our workshop. Most of a kitchen can be dismantled, however you are inevitably left with some items which will not, such as end panels and carcass edges. The lacquer we use can be brushed or rollered on, so you can buy a kit to do this yourself or have us come out and do it for you.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

We would need to book your kitchen in and once this is done, we would have it for a maximum of 10 working days.

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE?

You do not need to prepare your kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts in any way to have them refinished, except to give them a quick clean.

WHAT ABOUT THE HANDLES?

It would be helpful if you remove the handles, but we can do this for you as well. You may like to think about getting new handles to complete your new look kitchen, and in this case we could fill the existing handle holes before refinishing.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

We standardise the prices so you can count up easily how much it would be, without having to measure everything. Click on “View Our Prices” below and you can see the prices for different items. Enter in how many doors and drawers you’ve got and you can immediately get an idea of total price for the spraying. You can then send this information to us, or you can ring us on 01427 668080.
