For modern furniture we offer a spray lacquer service, suitable for most furniture including Ercol, Plan G, Mackintosh, Nathan and Stag, and this can also be applied to reproduction furniture. It is a flexible alternative to hand finishes (which can be very labor intensive) and the finished product can be more durable, making it ideal for surfaces which are in constant use as dressing tables or dining tables. The degree of gloss can be altered to suit individual taste, so you can have anything from a matt or satin look to a high gloss finish. It can be used to change the character of a piece of furniture. We can also produce uniquely designed furniture; The picture above shows a Victorian dining table with the Jack Union flag in tinted lacquers so that the wood grain can be seen underneath the colors. Have a look at some of the photographs using the "View Work" tab on the right, including 1970s reproduction desks or dressing tables sprayed with high gloss solid colors.
